POLICIES

Orders

Out of Time is a small, independently owned business. All vintage items are final sale. Please read item descriptions carefully before purchasing. Items listed are described as honest and accurately as possible - any known imperfections will be noted.

Vintage pieces have had a previous life before finding you, so a small amount of wear should be expected. Anything damaged past the point of use or that is unwearable will not be listed. Please keep in mind that all monitors display colors differently. For any additional questions, please contact sales@shopoutoftime.com.

Shipping

All orders are shipped from Los Angeles, California. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday and typically ship within three business days. Any orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed the following business day. A tracking number will be provided once the order has been shipped.

Please consider the security of your delivery address before placing your order. Out of Time is not responsible for packages once they are shipped. If your package is lost, stolen or damaged - please contact the shipping provider first. If you need further assistance, please email sales@shopoutoftime.com.

Vintage

Please note, vintage pieces date back 20 years or later. Buying vintage means you are purchasing something that is preloved, preworn and prestored (signs of wear and age should be expected). All listed pieces will include a condition rating in the product description, as well as any noted imperfections.

✦ Excellent - No obvious flaws in appearances and was previously used with only slight to normal wear.
✦ Gently Used - Few minor flaws, easily repairable or already repaired.
✦ Distressed - Visible flaws and wear. Possibly multiple repairs, loose seams, holes, stains and fading.
✦ Aged - Vintage pieces from the Edwardian Era.

Sizing

Each product description includes measurements which are taken in inches. If an item has a tag, the size will be listed in the description. Please keep in mind that vintage sizes are at least four sizes smaller than modern sizes. Review below to learn how to measure yourself (measuring tape required):

✦ Bust: Measure at the fullest part of your bust. If you wish to wear a bra with the desired piece, please measure with a bra on.

✦ Bodice: Place the measuring tape vertically over the bust. Measure from shoulder to waist.

✦ Waist: Measure the smallest part of your natural waist line. This will be about one inch above your belly button.

✦ Hips: Stand with your feet close together. Measure the fullest part of your hips.

Care Instructions

Vintage pieces should be considered delicate so determining if the item is washable is the best place to begin. Once decided, hand washing or dry cleaning may be the best options.
